Prudent Supported Living are offering an amazing opportunity to become a Service Lead within our supported living organisation!

We are looking for Service Leads who want to join us and continue to support others to the highest level and as one of the rewards for your hard work, we would like to support you in completing further qualifications such as an NVQ level 4 or even an NVQ level 5!

As a Service Lead you will be expected to oversee more than 1 home, supporting the staff team and ensure that we are working efficiently and achieving the highest level of care and support that we can. Our individuals all live in sole accommodation and have staff teams we support on 12 hour shift patterns. You will will oversee staff supervisions and appraisals as well as the daily running of the home.

 

Excellent written , oral communication is essential for the role as you will be part of the team updating and writing care plans, health action plans etc. Daily, weekly and monthly paperwork, supervision, team meetings, spot checks, are all part of the responsibilities that you will hold as a Service Lead. Experience and Required skill set:

  • Minimum of 3 years working as a team leader in a care or support setting.
  • Minimum Level 3 in Health and social care in place.
  • Full driving Licence desired but not essential.
  • On-call service cover on a rolling rota, this is taken in turn with other members of the management team. This is the out of hours cover that is provided for staff team to contact a senior team member.

  • Help cover the work of the team, during absence, vacancies, of when a colleague is under pressure.
  • Liaise and coordinate with other team members to provide a cohesive, high quality service and ensure that CQC legislation and guidelines are followed.
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings.
  • Share with other team member’s previous experience, skills and knowledge, which may be relevant to the team in providing its service.
